A manual or a brochure of Self-portrait A-Z would best describe my book.
When I was writing my book, I imagined my readers would be relatively new to photography/self-portrait, who have great interests to it but haven't had enough knowledge yet. That's why I started my book with the use of a camera, then compositions, some basic lightening and of course some Photoshop tricks as well. Moreover, lots of experiences/tricks that I've learned over the years from all kinds of photography magazines, tutorials and books etc. So one reads the book won't have to search up and down or make mistakes that I've made.
I disagree when some criticized my book as all over the place but no depth. As stated above, the idea of this book is an EASY and QUICK entry to the self-portrait world, instead of coaching any mature or sophisticated photography masters.
Last but not least, it's always wonderful to share your work with others. To me, it's a perfect opportunity to share my photos, my interpretations through my book with family, friends and now the readers.
As above being said, I do know that my book is far from professional or perfect. I'm more than happy to see constructive comments and advices.
